Phillip Allen Florence, 72

Phillip Allen Florence, 72, of Cynthiana, passed away on April 1 at his home. He was born on Nov. 15, 1951, in Harrison County to the late Allen and Virginia Malone Florence. He is survived by his wife, Dana Florence; son, Chad Florence; daughter, Farrah Florence (Tony) Bottiggi; sister, Shirlene (David) Asbury; sister-in-law, Gina Eads McIlvain; grandchildren, Nick Florence, Macy Florence, Bella Bottiggi, Luca Bottiggi; and great-grandchild, Emre Pope.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. also at Ware Funeral Home. Bro. Clifford Neat will preside over the services. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Chad Florence, Nick Florence, Macy Florence, Bella Bottiggi, Luca Bottiggi, Tony Bottiggi, Kim McIlvain, Kevin McIlvain, John “Hootie” Ismail, Itai Bear, Ilan Bear, and Lucas Pope. Honorary pallbearers will be Kelly McIlvain, David Malone, Gary Malone, Avi Bear, and David Asbury. Memorial contributions can be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators, 1317 US-62, Cynthiana, KY 41031 or St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee.
