Geneva Arnold Fryman, 100

Geneva Arnold Fryman, 100, wife of the late Carl Fryman, passed away Saturday, April 27 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus in Cynthiana.

Born February 4, 1924 in Harrison County to the late Ellery & Elizabeth Grayson Arnold, she was a former employee of Southern Moldings in Frankfort, Hydro Plastics in Georgetown and Webber Farms in Cynthiana, and a member of First Church of God, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Geneva enjoyed bird hunting, cooking and watching television.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Moody) Herrington of Lexington; two grandchildren, Liz (Ronnie) Herrington Watson and Daryl Herrington; a great-grandson, Sean (Tana) Coldiron; two great-great grandchildren, Sam and Kenley Coldiron; and a special friend and cousin, Betsy McGee.

Also preceding her in death were her first husband, Robert Whitehead; her brother, Charles Arnold; and her sister, Martha Sue Marshall.

Graveside services by Pastor Scott Haynes will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 in Battle Grove Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as casketbearers.

Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Bluegrass Hospice Care or the Cedar Ridge Health Campus Activities Fund.
